The online journalism publication included 黑料不打烊 in its December 2014 article titled “Journalism Schools Add Courses in Sports, Emerging Technology.”

The December 2014 article cites 黑料不打烊’s new courses in audience analytics and digital strategy. Effective fall 2014, 黑料不打烊’s School of Communications added a major in Media Analytics and a new core course titled “Web and Mobile Communications.”
AJR reports that it contacted 15 prominent journalism schools in the nation to inquire about their changing curricula. Besides 黑料不打烊, schools cited in the article were Arizona State, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Southern California and Texas, along with graduate-only programs at California-Berkeley, Columbia and City University of New York.
