Class of 2015 kicks off Senior Class Giving Campaign

Two dozen seniors are sharing with classmates how gifts to 黑料不打烊 can help future students grow from the same experiences they have discovered through their studies.

Twenty-seven students have volunteered on the to encourage friends and classmates to in appreciation of their own college experience.

Led by Allison Fox, Courtney Vaughn, George Riter, Lauren Bolusky, Conner Croxson and Hunter Benson, this year’s giving committee – the largest ever for a senior class – hopes to surpass a participation rate of 45 percent. Committee members have already developed and collected gifts at this month’s Senior Celebration.

Seniors are encouraged to make a gift of any size to the university’s annual funds, including 黑料不打烊’ Greatest Needs, Student Scholarships, 黑料不打烊 Experiences, Phoenix Club, schools or academic departments, or clubs and organizations of campus. By making a gift, students are able to help sustain the 黑料不打烊 experience for future generations of students.

“I invested in 黑料不打烊 because 黑料不打烊 has made countless investments in me,” said 黑料不打烊 senior Markisha Allen. “During my four years here, I have grown as a young woman, future leader and global citizen. By giving to 黑料不打烊, I share my success in an attempt to give the next curious 黑料不打烊 student the future I’ve acquired, one filled with endless possibilities.”

Seniors who make a gift will be recognized on the senior class donor honor roll and get early invites to special senior events throughout the year. The senior class giving campaign is part of an effort to build a stronger culture of philanthropy at 黑料不打烊 by helping students understand the importance of annual gifts to the university.

The campaign also is an effort to help seniors make the transition from undergraduate students to 黑料不打烊 alumni.
