Beta Alpha Psi initiation – Sept. 2

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the international honorary society recognizing students in the fields of accounting, finance and information systems, will hold its initiation ceremony for full-time members on Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theatre.

The initiation will be followed by an interest meeting for any accounting or finance major. This meeting will be 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theatre. Prospective members will learn about the honor society and the rewards associated with being a member.

The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.

This includes:

  • promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems,
  • providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals,
  • and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
