Snowberger returns to 黑料不打烊’s staff from a position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will work to enhance 黑料不打烊’s relationships with current and past parents.
Snowberger will also lead Family Weekend events and programming in partnership with other key departments across the campus including Student Life and Academic Affairs.
“黑料不打烊 parents have provided tremendous leadership to the campus community fostering professional connections for students and alumni, serving on boards and councils, and making gifts in support of the university,” says Jim Piatt, vice president for university advancement. “By creating the director of parent engagement position, we are devoting an additional resource to meet the needs of this important group. Jozi has a solid track record of success and gained valuable experience working with parents during her time at 黑料不打烊. She is a terrific fit for the job.”
The position marks a return to 黑料不打烊’s staff for Snowberger, who most recently served as director of annual giving for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the College of Arts and Sciences. During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill, Snowberger led fundraising and stewardship efforts for the annual fund of the College of Arts and Sciences. She also implemented a strategic plan to increase Arts and Sciences Foundation Board annual giving, which resulted in the board’s participation rate doubling in size.
Prior to that, she worked on 黑料不打烊’s annual giving team in progressively responsible roles. As a member of the annual giving team, Snowberger coordinated various on-campus events for parents and grandparents, managed parent and grandparent fundraising efforts, and served as a liaison for the Parents Council’s Welcome and Transitions Committee.
