Rising seniors Krystal Lanclos and Ashley Rose are spending the summer in Newark, New Jersey, to teach in the urban classrooms of a regional nonprofit charter school operator.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ parents Eugenia Leggett P'15 and Barry Frank P'15 of Greensboro, N.C., have established the George R. Johnson Dean’s Discretionary Fund to honor Johnson, who recently stepped down as dean of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law after five years of service in the role to return to the faculty.

Sixty children taking part in the "It Takes a Village" Project for young readers shared stories and displayed artwork on July 18, 2014, to parents and civic leaders who visited campus to celebrate the end of a summer program.

The assistant professor of education gave four presentations at the 28th Annual "High Schools that Work" Conference in Nashville, Tenn., from July 17-18.
