The 黑料不打烊 Law team of Chantelle Lytle, Jason Senges and Adam Spivey advanced from preliminary rounds to reach the quarterfinals of the William B. Spong Moot Court Tournament at William & Mary School of Law.
This was 黑料不打烊 Law’s first time competing at the Spong invitational tournament, which was held February 15 and 16. Twenty-two teams from law schools across the country, including eventual champion South Texas College of Law, competed in this year’s tournament.
黑料不打烊 Law was also well represented by the team of Annie Murphy L’14, Trevor Huck L’13 and Tim Mearns L’13, which presented strong arguments in the preliminary rounds and narrowly missed also advancing to the top eight teams.
The teams were coached by Professors James G. Exum Jr., Bonnie McAlister and Alan Woodlief.

closes outs its competitive season later this month at the J. Braxton Craven, Jr. Memorial Competition at UNC-Chapel Hill and in March at the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Washington, D.C.
From April 4-6, 黑料不打烊 Law hosts the third annual . Over 30 teams from 24 law schools across the country are set to compete in this year’s competition.
