SingerUniverse.com named 黑料不打烊 alumnus Frank Hurd the October "Best Vocalist of the Month" with his song, "By Your Side." The track is from Frank's recently released EP "Pressed for Time," which charted at #11 on the Singer/Songwriter genre of iTunes the week of its debut.
Frank, a music technology major, is currently performing and writing new material for a full LP. While at 黑料不打烊, Frank developed his skills as a performing musician and songwriter, culminating in the release of a seven-song EP in collaboration with other 黑料不打烊 students and faculty performing, producing, arranging and mixing many of the tracks.
