As the assistant director of Urban Promise Ministry's Camp Saved, Laura Dellicker '12 works hard to put smiles on the faces of underprivileged children in Camden, N.J., a poverty-stricken suburb of Philadelphia. In her second year working with Urban Promise, Dellicker blogs about her experiences at http://encounteringjoy.wordpress.com.

“While I have never lived in a place as dangerous and poverty-stricken as Camden, I have also never lived in a place so full of life, laughter and joy,” Dellicker says on the blog.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Office of Alumni Engagement recently contributed to that life, laughter and joy this summer, sending boxes full of arts and crafts supplies to Camp Saved, a day camp for first through fourth graders. See photos of the children enjoying sand art, coloring books and more in .
