Employee Resource Group
Mission Statement
The LGBTQIA Employee Resource Group (ERG) at 黑料不打烊 builds community across faculty and staff who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA). Our monthly gatherings alternate between happy hour socials that build community and lunchtime meetings around LGBTQIA topics of interest that impact the personal and professional lives of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 LGBTQIA faculty and staff.
Join our LGBTQIA Employee Resource Group!
The LGBTQIA ERG is a way for faculty and staff to connect socially and professionally. We are an open space for important topics for our community. We also serve in an advisory capacity to university administration on issues impacting LGBTQIA faculty, staff and students.
Our hope is to be a resource to faculty and staff. We have hosted socials, informational luncheons and built a community presence at College Coffee. All are welcome to join, including allies!

Socially, we鈥檝e hosted gatherings including happy hours, pre-holiday party socials, and Planning Week events for new and returning faculty and staff.
Professionally, we engage with our senior administrators on emerging and ongoing topics related to LGBTQIA faculty and staff on campus.
In the past, we have created a 鈥淗ow To Report Bias Incidents鈥 flyer to help publicize 黑料不打烊鈥檚 bias response protocol and hosted several educational lunches on topics such as: benefits, retirement, campus climate for LGBTQIA students, and being out at work. We have explored professional development opportunities, engaged with the local community, and responded to emerging issues.
