Expanding Access Through Scholarships

Through ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS, our community will invest $140 million in scholarships. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s graduation and first-year retention rates are among the highest in the nation, affirming our strategy of making smart investments in exceptional students through financial aid. Yet more students need our help to choose ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. You can make an impact by making a gift of any size to broaden access to an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ education.

Odyssey Program Scholarships

The Odyssey Program serves students with high financial need, including many first-generation college students. These students have achieved remarkable success while overcoming adversity and are consistently among our top-performing students. The Odyssey Program is a national model for need-based scholarship initiatives with a 90% graduation rate. Yet it only serves about 180 of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 6,000 undergraduates. During this campaign, we will make significant progress on our long-term goal of securing 100 Odyssey students per class.

Odyssey Program Scholarships include:

  • Financial aid that meets students’ full need
  • Global Study grant
  • Stipend for books and supplies
  • Minimum gift commitment: $500,000

As a Fellow, you’re seen as a leader in the Love School of Business and that has pushed me to work even harder every day. I have three internships under my belt and have studied in Dubai, which makes me stand out with employers. I am so grateful for my Fellows scholarship because I wouldn’t have been able to come to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ without it, and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is where I want to be. My scholarship shows that someone believes in me and that I belong at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Fellows Scholarships

Our Fellows programs are rigorous, value-added programs that attract the best and brightest minds to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. Today, graduates of our Fellows programs are making an impact as leaders in education, medicine, business and communications among other fields. Yet many Fellows receive little or no financial assistance. In this campaign, we will provide scholarships for exceptional students who enrich our learning community every day.

  • Honors Fellows for students pursuing any major
  • ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College Fellows for majors in the arts and humanities, social sciences, and natural and mathematical sciences
  • Business Fellows for majors in accounting, economics, economic consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, international economics, management and marketing
  • Communications Fellows for majors in journalism, strategic communications, cinema and television arts, media analytics, communication design and sport management
  • Teaching Fellows for education majors
  • Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows for students pursuing any major

Fellows Scholarships include:

  • Special Fellows courses and faculty mentoring
  • Fellows living-learning communities
  • Paid research assistantships or internships
  • Minimum gift commitment: $250,000

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Engagement Scholarships

Engagement Scholarships are a key part of our enrollment strategy because they help close the financial gap for families and allow admitted students to choose ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. Often these students are members of families with two or more students in college and need moderate levels of support to choose ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ over a lower-cost institution. These scholarships attract students who are eager to participate in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s nationally recognized engaged learning programs that prepare students for success.

Engagement Scholarships include:

  • Scholarship assistance, renewable annually
  • Grant to be used for an approved ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Experience or creative project designed by the student
  • Minimum gift commitment: $100,000

Make an Impact Today

Support for scholarships will also be fueled by gifts to the university’s annual funds. These gifts are powerful because they represent immediate investments in the students that drive ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ to new levels of quality and excellence.

You can support this priority today by making a gift of any size to:

  • ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Greatest Needs
  • The Phoenix Club, which supports student-athletes
  • The School of Law Annual Scholarship Fund

I am getting a world-class education at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ from professors, administrators and coaches who truly care about me and who push me to be the best I can be. For that I am truly grateful.
