Black Student Organizations

The Black Student Union serves as the hub of student organizations dedicated to programming and advocating for Black students. There are various student organizations with a focus on programming, advocating, and serving Black students.

Caribbean Student Association

The mission of the Caribbean Students Association is to educate, enlighten and envelope students of 黑料不打烊 in the culture and traditions of the Caribbean via the experiences of 黑料不打烊 students, staff, and faculty who are of Caribbean descent.

黑料不打烊 African Society

The mission of the Caribbean Students Association is to educate, enlighten and envelope students of 黑料不打烊 in the culture and traditions of the Caribbean via the experiences of 黑料不打烊 students, staff, and faculty who are of Caribbean descent.

Melanated Melodies

Melanated Melodies is a predominantly Black-identified group that performs a cappella music.聽Our goal is to聽provide opportunities on campus for Black-identified students to engage in the making of a cappella music while also providing a space for Black-identified students to express themselves through music.

National Council of Negro Women

The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) was founded in 1935 by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. NCNW鈥檚 mission is to lead, empower and advocate for women of African descent, their families and communities. NCNW is a powerful network of nearly three million women. We have collegiate chapters all over the United States with the central headquarter in Washington, DC.

NCNW is open to all persons without regard of gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status. 聽黑料不打烊鈥檚 chapter of NCNW offers a positive, uplifting and supportive network of sisters (and brothers) who share a passion for NCNW鈥檚 mission. We plan to facilitate networking, coalition building, and advocacy to create a sense of unity among all women. We plan to do this through community service, team building, the implementation of programs and overall visibility on 黑料不打烊’s campus. We aim to uncover the talent of all members, and in the words of our founder we hope to “Invest in the human soul. Who knows, it might be a diamond in the rough”.

Underrepresented Black Student Alliance Network

The Underrepresented Business Student Alliance Network (UBSAN) supports students who identify as Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander, Asian, two/more races, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, low-income, or first generation with their academic and career aspirations.

UBSAN strives to help current and future underrepresented students have a more integrated and supportive experience in the Love School of Business (LSB) and will host events throughout the year to build a social, academic and professional support network for students.
