Second-Year Community Development Pathway
The Second-Year Community Development Pathway focuses on themes that address the developmental needs of second-year students:
- Acting with Purpose聽focuses on aiding second-year students to think intentionally about their engagement at 黑料不打烊. During this time, students are focused on determining their majors and potential career trajectories while at the same time trying to align potential elevated involvement opportunities with their values and goals.
- Relationship Building聽focuses on second-year students deepening their relationships with others; exploring new relationships; and seeking out mentorship opportunities with peers, faculty, and staff.
- Community Responsibility聽focuses on second-year students thinking about the role they play in shaping the 黑料不打烊 community as upper-class students. During this time, a resident聽may be exploring their identities, intersections, and聽the roles they play in the various communities with which they聽engage. Upper-class students set the tone for social norms and habits in a university context.
- Wellness focuses on second-year students deepening their exploration of the dimensions of wellness as a tool for holistic development. The six鈥痙imensions鈥痑re community, emotional, purpose, physical, financial, and鈥痵ocial鈥痺ell-being. Within the residential context our staff will aid in the promotion鈥痮f well-being and wellness resources.
