Located on the first floor of the McEwen Communications Building, the Gear Room provides short-term equipment checkouts to students enrolled in School of Communications courses.

Reservations

To reserve equipment from the Gear Room, students must聽complete an online reservation using WebCheckout. A valid Phoenix Card must be presented for equipment checkout.

Late Fines

Equipment returned past the due date/time will incur fines. Late fines are automatically generated by the system. Late charges include an initial $10 for the first minute, and an additional $0.50 per hour thereafter. Fines may be paid with Phoenix Cash or transferred to the tuition account.
