When are grants accepted?
- Standard Grants are accepted by ATC on a continuing basis from Planning Week (late August) to April 1st of the same academic year.
- Expedited Grants are accepted year-round, including summer and winter terms.
How do I know if my grant meets the intended purpose of these funds?

I鈥檝e already purchased a tool. Can I submit a grant to cover something I鈥檝e already purchased?
No, ATC will not consider reimbursement of technology already purchased with other funding.

I鈥檝e submitted my grant application. What happens next?
Expedited Grants: During the regular semester (not during breaks/holidays, winter term, or summer), the Chair will respond typically within a week. If you are awarded the grant, the email will include details on next steps.
Standard Grants:
- During the regular semester (not during breaks/holidays, winter term, or summer), the Chair will post your grant application for review by the ATC Committee typically within a week. Committee members are given about a week to review, ask questions, and vote on the application. Should questions emerge, the Chair may reach out to the applicant to seek further clarification.
- While much of the review and voting process occurs online, some applications require further Committee discussion in person. The Committee meets monthly, so some applications may require a month or more before a final decision is rendered. Please be sure you apply with enough time to allow for this.
- You will hear back from the Chair with the final outcome. If you are awarded the grant, the email will include details on next steps.
