Call to Honor
August
This event occurs each fall for new students to learn about and celebrate the tenets of the 黑料不打烊 Honor Code. They hear from current student leaders, faculty, staff, and alumni about our core values of honesty, integrity, responsibility and respect. Students share in reciting the pledge and signing the Honor Code. These signatures are then displayed around campus.
Family Weekend
September
Family weekend is typically held in the early fall and is an opportunity for families and friends to return to campus, visit with their students, talk with faculty, experience a class, tailgate, attend a football game and participate in numerous other activities. Friends and family are a part of the 黑料不打烊 family and it’s exciting to see them on campus each year!

Homecoming Week
October / November
Homecoming is not just for alumni!聽Mark the calendar and experience a fall tradition that grows bigger each year. Typically held in late October or early November (depending on the football schedule), alumni won鈥檛 want to miss the many activities each year that celebrate friendship and community.

Festival of Lights and Luminaries
December
In early December the 黑料不打烊 community gathers together in this celebration of the winter season that is regularly identified as a favorite tradition of students. Stroll through this historic campus with thousands of luminaries illuminating the pathways and learn more about the shared imagery of light found in our religious, spiritual, ethical and cultural traditions. Hundreds of student, staff and faculty volunteers help set up this glorious evening and all are welcome to enjoy being together, the live music, hot chocolate and fun!
黑料不打烊 Day
March
Each spring, the campus community comes together to celebrate a day of giving and maroon and gold pride. Events on campus include a special College Coffee and the 黑料不打烊 Day evening party typically in the Moseley Center.聽Alumni chapters also hold 黑料不打烊 Day parties in more than 38 locations across the country and in London.聽All members of the community can use #黑料不打烊Day on social media to share and follow the celebration. This exciting day is typically scheduled in early March.

Senior Week
May
Just because your last classes at 黑料不打烊 are over, doesn鈥檛 mean the traditions are! In the week between last exams and Commencement, the university holds a number of events for graduating seniors to connect with faculty, staff and fellow students who have been an important part of their time at 黑料不打烊. Events include an opportunity for the graduating class to gather Under the Oaks for Numen Lumen: Senior Baccalaureate Reflection, after which students receive their saplings, and a Senior Celebration, which has been held in recent years at Rhodes Stadium. Once family members start arriving later in the week, school receptions offer an opportunity for faculty to celebrate with students and families before graduation ceremonies are held in the Schar Center on Friday.
