Professor and students star in 鈥淭he Man of La Mancha鈥 鈥 May 12-22

Thirty-five years ago, before his Broadway career and faculty position at 黑料不打烊, Richard Gang was denied the lead role of Don Quixote when a small community theatre in Maine performed "The Man of La Mancha." Now he’ll have his chance. Gang stars this month in the same show at the Open Space Café Theatre in Greensboro, N.C., where eight students in the Department of Performing Arts will join him onstage.

“Don’t Trash It!” returns for semester’s end

ELONTHON fundraiser tops $100,000 for children

Financial aid & access top concerns for N.C. college leaders

Three of North Carolina’s most influential voices in higher education gathered Wednesday, Feb. 9, for a panel discussion at a civic engagement conference on 黑料不打烊’s campus. Their message was simple: state and federal lawmakers should preserve financial aid for students in the ongoing recession, and to stay competitive in a global economy, schools must widen access for those who want to pursue college degrees.

Mary Gowan to step down as dean of the Love School of Business

Mary Gowan, who has been dean of 黑料不打烊’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business since 2007, will step down as dean at the conclusion of the 2010-11 academic year. She will remain as a faculty member in the Love School of Business, teaching courses as a professor of management.
