The 2016 Alumni Award winners will be honored on Friday, Oct. 21 at 9:30 a.m. in the McBride Gathering Space in the Numen Lumen Pavilion. 

The new Friday night celebration is designed to cater to all ages, with a variety of food and entertainment options. 

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 3:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21. 

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Review hosts a program on Nov. 4, 2016, that will examine the influence of the judiciary on politics and culture in an era of deep distrust in government.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is a partner in the new global engagement snapshot from the N.C. Coalition of Global Competitiveness. 

American Bar Association President Linda Klein visited ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law on Monday for a special luncheon with some of the school’s top students and legal leaders from the North Carolina Bar Association and the Greensboro Bar Association.

The Access Group Center for Research & Policy Analysis awarded ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law a grant of more than a quarter million dollars to assess enhancements to a program that graduates students in less time, and with greater cost savings, than traditional three-year law schools.

The honor is bestowed upon colleges with an exceptional commitment to sustainability based on their academic offerings and career preparation for students, campus policies, initiatives, and activities. 

The influential college guide lists ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law in its 2017 edition of "The Best 172 Law Schools," which featured feedback from an 80-question student survey. 

The Oct. 12 program at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in the Danieley Center Neighborhood will feature an all-star cast of musicians performing songs that have been censored or banned, or that call for social change.
