The courts at Jimmy Powell Tennis Center will see matches between the top players from schools across the Coastal Athletic Association on Thursday, April 25, through Sunday, April 28.

Fifty-seven graduating seniors were inducted into ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and one of the most prestigious honor societies, in an April 19 ceremony.

Outstanding ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students were recognized for their achievements and contributions to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ during a ceremony on Saturday, April 20.

Allen was given the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Medallion during a ceremony on Friday, April 19, that also included naming a residence hall in the Colonnades Neighborhood after him.

The gift from alumni Mark ’98 and Kim ’99 Tyson, of Monroe, North Carolina, will name the Counseling Services Center in the new HealthEU Center, which will be a hub for holistic health and well-being initiatives within the university’s Innovation Quad.

The collaboration will allow ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ to make additional progress toward its goal of being carbon neutral by 2037.

Maker Takeover is the Maker Hub’s largest annual celebration that brings students, staff and faculty together to showcase their creative projects, including made-from-scratch musical instruments, custom designed clothing and furniture, and much more.

The 135,000-square-foot center will be a hub for health and well-being within the university’s Innovation Quad and is scheduled to open in summer 2026.

Celebrate Earth Week with a variety of activities planned on campus and around the community from April 21 through April 27.

Performances of the Shakespeare comedy will take place in McCrary Theatre in the Center for the Arts.
