The Access Group Center for Research & Policy Analysis awarded ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law a grant of more than a quarter million dollars to assess enhancements to a program that graduates students in less time, and with greater cost savings, than traditional three-year law schools.

The grant will help fund his project, "On the Edge: Launching a Regional Interdisciplinary Symposium in the Southeast.”

The lifelong learning initiative at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ features weekly presentations from current and retired ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ faculty and staff, alums and other experts in the community. 

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students will have a chance on Tuesday, Aug. 30, to fill out a ballot for topics to be discussed during the three public forums this academic year. 

The grant will support the Refugee Assistance Program at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law. 

The grant is for the project titled "Jumpstarting a Multi-Year Health Promotion Project through Connections and Collaborations."

The grant will help support the inaugural Tournées Film Festival at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

The grant will help fund Ripple 2017, a conference to focus on the theme of "Mindfully Plural."

The grant will allow the associate professor of education to work with two ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ professors on finding strategies that are helpful, culturally relevant and easy for families to use to foster their infant's language development.

Amy Overman, associate professor of psychology, is awarded ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s first grant from the National Institutes of Health to study age-related changes in memory.
