A Will to Lead: Generous estate gift from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus Wayne T. Moore ’49 endows professorship

The professorship established by the late ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus and faculty member Wayne T. Moore ’49 and his wife, Elizabeth, will support the teaching and research of an emerging scholar in the arts, humanities or social sciences. The $500,000 gift honors Wayne's late brother, Fletcher Moore '34, a longtime music faculty member at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Lisa Buchanan publishes article in Social Studies Research and Practice

Lisa Buchanan, associate professor in the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education, recently published an article in the peer-reviewed Social Studies Research and Practice journal that outlines theoretical and pedagogical approaches to investigating racial violence with learners in grades 3-12 and K-12 teacher candidates.
