Johanna Krygsman '17, a public health senior, will be the 6th ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Postgraduate Fellow at CRHP India. She will spend one year supporting and learning from the coprehensive development nonprofit - the Comprehensive Rural Health Project - in Jamkhed India. 

Professors Raj Ghoshal and Katherine Johnson facilitated a student discussion of Peter Singer's "The Life You Can Save: Doing Your Part to End World Poverty," as the inaugural Read On ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ event.

Amy Mullan is competing for a highly competitive national fellowship awarded each year to those with goals of working in public service or government. Winners will be announced in April. 

The panel discussion on health, wellness and society sponsored by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and the Burlington Times-News will be held on April 11 at 7 p.m. 

Michelle Reissig ’17 is among the recipients of the Lumen Prize, which provides selected students with a $15,000 scholarship and celebrates their academic and creative accomplishments.

Federico Motka along with Joel Shelton, assistant professor of political science and policy studies, will present, "Rethinking Humanitarianism in a Fragmenting World: Lessons from Syria and Beyond” on Thursday, Feb. 9.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 1,900 grants awarded annually in all fields of study. 

Since the beginning of January, students in Health Care Strategies for the 21st Century have worked with local health care professionals to develop strategic market strategies for their organizations. 

The statewide coalition of colleges and universities also recognized an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ student with its Community Impact Award for leadership and service. 

Matthew Crumpton '17 was presented with the first Richard Lichetenstein Leadership Award during his time at the University of Michigan's Summer Enrichment Program.
