Three out of every four North Carolina residents believe the current health care system in the United States is in need of reform, according to the latest ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Poll, and 54 percent of residents support health insurance legislation that would include a public option.

Hunter Bacot, an associate professor of political science and director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Poll, spoke with News 14 Carolina on Oct. 30 moments after the release of the latest poll results measuring North Carolina attitudes on political leaders in Washington.

With just over a year to go before the 2010 midterm elections, 19 percent of North Carolina residents believe Sen.
