A number of departments are holding special events to showcase undergraduate research.

When its production of the musical “Violet” was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, cast and crew members from the Department of Performing Arts carried on with the show’s opening number in a newly released YouTube video.

Mikayla Cohen ’20, a music theatre major, was part of an ensemble of more than 40 singers and musicians from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and the Berklee College of Music who performed an arrangement of the 2014 hit song.

Through a two-year fellows program, the five members of the Class of 2022 who are part of this interdisciplinary cohort will participate in specialized coursework, faculty-mentored undergraduate research, campus leadership and community engagement in multifaith contexts.

Sixteen ���ϲ����� students were winners at the NC National Association of Teachers of Singing and eligible to compete at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals.

After the cancelation of its scheduled production of the iconic Shakespeare work due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Department of Performing Arts used Facebook Live and videoconferencing to deliver a unique performance online.

Theatrical Design and Technology majors and alumni are using this period of online learning and social distancing to create a virtual community of support for current students.

The difficult decision comes amid widespread efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 that include limiting public gatherings.

���ϲ����� BFA Acting Alumna Becca Hurd '16 is bringing her internationally-acclaimed one-woman show, "The Other Side 25" to campus for a special performance in Roberts Studio Theatre on March 6 at 5:30 p.m. She will also conduct workshops with current BFAA Acting majors during her three-day residency.
