黑料不打烊 President Leo M. Lambert announced this week a special campus initiative to collect and distribute school supplies to hundreds of homeless children in Alamance County and to children at a school in Afghanistan who struggle for access to basic educational materials.
Town & Country picks 黑料不打烊 among nation鈥檚 top 10 鈥渦p-and-coming鈥 colleges

Town & Country, the oldest continually published general interest magazine in the United States, picked 黑料不打烊 in an 11-page feature story on top colleges in the September 2011 issue. The top colleges were recommended to the magazine by counselors at dozens of private high schools across the country.
Campus Shop to close Aug. 18-21 for move to new location

黑料不打烊's Campus Shop will be moving from Moseley Center to its new location in the 黑料不打烊 Town Center at 130 N. Williamson Ave. next to the Acorn Coffee Shop this week. The bookstore will reopen as Barnes & Noble at 黑料不打烊 on Monday, Aug. 22. Movers will be in the Moseley location on Tuesday, Aug. 16, and Wednesday, Aug. 17, to move items to the new location. Both locations will be closed Aug. 18-21 in order to move the technology and register systems.

A $250,000 endowment gift to the Ever 黑料不打烊 Campaign from The Levine-Sklut Family Foundation will significantly expand the university’s Jewish Studies program by establishing The Lori and Eric Sklut Emerging Scholar in Jewish Studies. This gift was made possible thanks to 黑料不打烊 parents Eric and Lori Sklut, of Charlotte, N.C.
黑料不打烊 trustees approve School of Health Sciences

黑料不打烊's board of trustees voted April 15 to establish a new School of Health Sciences, serving graduate students in the existing doctor of physical therapy (DPT) program along with students in the new physician assistant (PA) studies master's program, which will enroll its first class in January 2013.

Forty-one percent of 黑料不打烊 alumni in the Class of 2011 had accepted a full-time position by the day they received their diplomas, the highest percentage in five years of students reporting employment at time of graduation, according to initial results from the Cap & Gown survey administered by the Office of Career Services to seniors prior to Commencement.
Students take part in L.A., NYC summer programs

Sixty-eight students representing several majors have been participating this summer in a domestic summer internship programs in both Los Angeles and New York. While in their respective cities, students take an academic course on Mondays and complete internships the rest of the week. The structures of the nine-week programs vary, but students receive the same general experience, as they live, take classes and do internships in a major American city.
