Campus Conservancy Endowment, which funds future maintenance of

After an extensive national search, campus leaders have announced that
Jodean Schmiederer will join ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ as its new assistant dean
of students, with overall responsibility for the Moseley Campus Center,
Greek Life, Student Judicial Affairs, Student Activities, Summer
Conferences, and Family Weekend.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ wins SoCon baseball title

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Phoenix will enter the upcoming 2008 Southern Conference Baseball Championship as the number one seed
after winning the regular season title outright with a 19-8 SoCon mark.
The Phoenix finished one game ahead of College of Charleston (18-9)
whose loss on the last day of the regular season gave ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ the title
outright. It is the second SoCon title for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in three seasons.

Bumbrey came away with Stein H. Basnight Outstanding Athlete Award

May 13.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ parents Howard C. and Judy Pickett of Cary, N.C., have made a
$110,000 endowment gift to enhance the university’s Isabella Cannon
Leadership Fellows program. The couple made the gift because of the
transformative experience that their daughter, Hilaire, a senior, has
had as a Leadership Fellow at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
LSM students raise money for United Way
