The Rev. Sam Wells, dean of Duke University Chapel, will deliver ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 2010 Baccalaureate sermon on Friday, May 21, at 3 p.m. in the Koury Athletic Center.

Forty-two undergraduate and MBA students were inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society Tuesday afternoon in a ceremony that welcomed honorary inductee Allen E. Gant Jr., a member of the university’s board of trustees and its immediate past chair.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Career Services has started utilizing Google Map system technology to highlight student outcomes and networking opportunities. Maps have been created as part of the ongoing effort to highlight direct measures of student success to the campus community.

Some of the top students on campus were honored April 24, 2010, during an annual awards program that recognizes the accomplishments of African-American students at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College, the College of Arts and Sciences, recognized distinguished student and faculty achievement over the past year in a May 6 ceremony.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's School of Education honored the academic excellence of 44 undergraduate and graduate students on May 3 as they were inducted into the Sigma Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education.

For the fourth consecutive year, a team from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has been recognized for its performance in the prestigious Bateman Competition, which annually showcases the work of public relations students around the country. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ was one of 16 teams to receive an honorable mention in the 2010 competition.

The best and brightest of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business were honored April 29 in an afternoon awards ceremony that highlighted the achievements of both students and faculty.
