The master’s program in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s School of Health Sciences has successfully completed a rigorous review process by ARC-PA, the accrediting agency for PA programs.

Thirty-seven candidates in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program received degrees Sunday in a Whitley Auditorium ceremony featuring remarks by Cynthia Booth Lord, past president of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s School of Health Sciences welcomed two new classes of graduate students to the university community this week. 

A Dec. 11 program in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion marked the end of academic studies and the formal start of clinical education for members of the PA program's Class of 2017.

The third annual event for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ graduate students in the Physician Assistant Studies program helped prepare the future medical professionals for aiding patients who struggle with mental health issues, poverty, a lack of education and other obstacles to healthy living.

A race hosted by graduate students in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Physician Assistant Studies program aims to raise $10,000 in support of a clinic that provides care for those in need in the Alamance County community. 

Twenty-one first- and second-year PA students and four faculty members participated in conference events held May 23-27.
