Katherine Shafer ’15, an international studies major from Port Jefferson, N.Y., will spend 11 months teaching English in Taiwan as part of a federal program that promotes mutual goodwill between people of the United States and people of other nations. 

Jenna Mason ’16, a special education and middle grades education double major from Wilton, CT, will spend a year teaching English in Thailand as part of a federal program that promotes mutual understanding and good will between U.S. citizens and citizens of other nations.

Christina Daniels-Freeman ‘16, a strategic communications and international studies double major from Durham, N.C., will spend nine months teaching English in Turkey as part of a federal program that promotes mutual good will between people of the United States and people of other nations.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ senior Alexandra “Allie” Barteldt and junior Benjamin Lutz have each received a Critical Language Scholarship from the federal government to study Hindi in Asia, and Arabic in Africa, respectively.
