The Music Department and Music Production and Recording Arts program offer two days of events focused on the contributions of women in the current music and entertainment industry. 

Guitar Instructor Chip Newton took part in a guitar workshop hosted by internationally recognized musicians, Martin Taylor and Peppino D'Agostino.

Research by Assistant Professor of Music Cora S. Palfy was recently published in The Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy, a national journal for the field of music theory.

The annual two-day jazz festival will feature three guest artists who will engage with student ensembles from area middle and high schools and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's university jazz ensemble.
