Five top executives will participate in a roundtable discussion focused on the Piedmont Triad economy at ���ϲ����� on March 4. The event is the latest in a series of regional roundtables sponsored by Business North Carolina, the state’s award-winning business magazine.

Bill Burpitt, associate professor and chair of the MBA program at ���ϲ�����, gave an invited talk at the 15th Annual Part-time MBA Conference held in October at Pepperdine University.

The MBA program of ���ϲ�����’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business is ranked in the top 10 in two categories in The Princeton Review's 2009 edition of the "Best 296 Business Schools." The school was ranked sixth in the nation for “best administered” program and seventh in the nation for “best classroom experience.”

���ϲ�����'s part-time MBA program in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business enrolled this fall one of its most competitive classes in school history, with the average student boasting eight years of professional experience at companies such as Kayser Roth, Motorola, Pfizer, RF Micro Devices and UNC Health Care.

���ϲ����� MBA students partnered with the Alamance-Burlington School System over the fall to measure how well local residents understand the way school budgets are created. The five classmates, as part of their graduate work, reported to system leaders that few people know how public schools receive and spend annual funds.
