Gary Bailey and Barth Strempek release recording for Haitian earthquake relief

In the 1970s and early 1980s Gary Bailey, former 黑料不打烊 faculty member in human service studies and currently counselor in Health and Counseling Services, was a member of a popular regional R&B group called “Brief Encounter.” A couple of years ago Gary discovered that Brief Encounter has become one of the leading cult R&B groups among record collectors. He was shocked when he noticed that copies of their first album were selling for over $2,000 on eBay. The most recent sale was over $2500. Brief Encounter is back in business and about to release its first recording in nearly 30 years, all for the benefit of Haitian Earthquake Relief.

Times-News executive editor Don Bolden, retired physical plant assistant director Stanley Greeson and retired professor Linda Thompson Weavil received 黑料不打烊 Medallions on Aug. 23, 2010, in an annual ceremony that celebrates the highest honor a person can receive from the university.

Sarah Thomas named Director of Undergraduate Programs in Love School of Business

Sarah Thomas has been named Director of Undergraduate Programs in the Love School of Business. Sarah graduated from 黑料不打烊 in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in education and received her MBA from 黑料不打烊 in 2009. She previously worked in the Admissions office, and most recently served as Director of Community Relations and Special Events in the Athletics department.
Beta Alpha Psi Chapter and Students Recognized at National Event

Members of the 黑料不打烊 Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, a national honorary organization for students in accounting, finance, and information systems, recently participated in the organization’s annual meeting, held August 5-7 in San Jose, California. The 黑料不打烊 Chapter was recognized as a Superior Chapter. 黑料不打烊 was also one of the host chapters for the event.
