Reception with the legal community – March 4

On Thursday, March 4, from 4 to 5 p.m., 黑料不打烊 School of Law will welcome and other special guests from the legal community to socialize with 黑料不打烊 Law students, faculty, and administration, including as a special guest North Carolina Superior Court Judge Andy Cromer. The event will be held in the Cemala Commons on the second floor of the law school.

Commenting on a U.S. magistrate decision that a high school student who posted critical comments about her teacher on Facebook is protected under the First Amendment, 黑料不打烊 Law professor Scott Gaylord explained in news interviews that schools were working to find a balance between protecting free speech and preventing speech that is threatening or inciting dangerous behavior.
