Through an October 28 letter to President Obama, more then 70 law professors have urged the Obama administration to halt its public endorsement of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), citing a lack of transparency and public input in deliberations shaping the international intellectual property agreement.

2010 Intramural Moot Court champions announced

At the Third Annual 黑料不打烊 Law Intramural Moot Court Competition, held October 26 through November 1, 21 law students earned an invitation to join the law school's Moot Court Board. Scott Morgan and Melissa Westmoreland were the competition champions.

Exum, Jr., former Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, member of the 黑料不打烊 Law School Advisory Board, and Distinguished Jurist-in-Residence at 黑料不打烊 Law, has been appointed by the North Carolina State Bar Council to serve on the Board of Trustees of the North Carolina State Bar Plan for Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (NC IOLTA).
