Levine discussed the Protect-IP Act, legislation under consideration in Congress that sponsors describe as an effort to protect online intellectual property, but critics say would be a threat to free speech and open Internet.

Volume three, issue one of the 黑料不打烊 Law Review includes four articles by scholars and teachers of law who are experts in legal education pedagogy. The authors explore enhancements to casebooks, testing techniques, teaching methods, teacher evaluation, and other aspects of law school instruction to improve learning in legal education.

On August 18, the 黑料不打烊 Law Class of 2014 participated in the fifth annual "黑料不打烊 Law Reaches Out" community service day. During this annual orientation event, the entering class assisted several nonprofit organizations in the Greensboro community.

Triangle Business Law, a boutique law firm founded by 黑料不打烊 Law alumnus Mital Patel, '09, was among three entities to organize Triangle Startup Weekend in Durham, North Carolina in early June. The event was designed to support entrepreneurs in the development of early stage product ideas and to encourage increased entrepreneurial activity in the region.
