ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Michael Rich presented insights from his current research about the ethics of deploying technologies that can prevent crime at the third annual works-in-progress series for internet law scholarship.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Scott Gaylord has authored amicus briefs for cases in the Sixth, Seventh, and Tenth Circuits of the United States Court of Appeals challenging the requirement under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) that most employers must provide employees with health insurance that covers all Food and Drug Administration approved contraceptive methods and sterilization procedures.

A March 11 State Tax Notes article by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Andy Haile, University of California-Berkeley School of Law Professor David Gamage and University of California Hastings College of the Law Professor Darien Shanske examines proposed federal legislation to address restrictions on states to collect sales or use taxes on electronic commerce.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Enrique Armijo presented at the March 11-12 “Right to Information & Transparency in the Digital Age” conference at Stanford University and the March 16 “Internet Law Works-in-Progress” series at Santa Clara University School of Law.
