Students and all members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law community are encouraged to attend the latest in the school's Hot Topics series, featuring Profs. Armijo, Levine and Rich on the criminal, cybersecurity, information, intellectual property, international and media law and policy issues surrounding one of the most high-profile and significant information thefts in computing history.

Fewer than three percent of the state’s lawyers were named to Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite” in 2015, including De La Calle, who won the “Young Guns” category, and eight other ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law alumni.

National and regional news reports about ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law’s groundbreaking new curriculum have emphasized the value, experiential focus and pioneering nature of the school’s new approach. 

Law students working on legal recommendations to transform how condemned and vacant homes are revitalized were featured Jan. 6 on WGHP Fox 8 News.  

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law is an executive partner in the coalition advancing a new Guilford County Family Justice Center, which will house 17 provider agencies and create a single point of access for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and elder abuse.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law student Joshua Bonney and alumnus Andrew Realon were part of a national conference examining change in legal education sponsored by Wolters Kluwer.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law invites members of the legal community to socialize with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students, faculty, alumni and prospective students on Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m.

All prospective students and their guests are invited to join members and friends of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law community for a special forum honoring the legal legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. The forum will take place at the law school on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 5:30 p.m., with a reception to follow. 

The faculty, students and alumni of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law contribute to the improvement of law and policy through cutting-edge scholarship, significant professional service and outstanding achievement in their areas of practice.
