Today, March 10, law students and alumni are engaged in a daylong celebration of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's birthday and the opportunity for giving to support ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law.

Six ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students led an effort to raise funds for a local foundation that provides sports and fitness opportunities for children in the foster care system, children with disabilities and other youth. 

In this week’s “ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Now” series, Professor Michael Rich explains Texas requirements to establish legal insanity in the context of the recently concluded trial of Eddie Ray Routh, the man who shot and killed Chris Kyle, subject of the recent Oscar-nominated film American Sniper, and his friend Chad Littlefield at a Texas shooting range. 

The start of classes and the opening of law school offices are delayed to 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, February 27.  Security will be on hand and the building will open at 9:30 a.m. Students please read this article for important schedule details.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law's Business Law Speaker Series will feature mergers and acquisitions expert Lee Lloyd on Monday, March 23 from 12:40 to 1:20 in Room 204. This event is open to members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law community. Student and faculty attendance is encouraged. RSVP requested. Details follow.
