More than 75 students, alumni and industry guests attended the alumni panel that addressed leadership, professional relationships, advocacy in the modern workplace and the importance of self-reflection.

The EmployHER retreat on Sept. 24 brought together current students interning in the ���ϲ����� in Los Angeles program and LA-based alumnae for lively discussions and workshops designed to uplift women professionals.

The film is part of a North Carolina shorts category and will be screened in person on Wednesday, May 12, and virtually on Thursday, May 13.

The Sunday, Feb. 28, event will include a panel featuring Black alumni who will lead a discussion on the depictions of the Black community in television and film.

After watching an episode of “Roswell, New Mexico” she directed, Raimist spoke to students on Jan. 18 regarding her work in television, how she got her start, and what it is like to direct during a pandemic.

The head of development at FBE was recognized for her contributions to the television industry, as well as ���ϲ����� initiatives, during an Oct. 13 virtual ceremony held in conjunction with Homecoming & Reunion Week.

In his Martin Luther King Jr. Keynote Address to the ���ϲ����� Law community, alumnus Dave Morrow '07 L'10 highlighted three attorneys whose legal work with the slain civil rights leader helped shape a nation in ways still felt today.

The ���ϲ����� alumna served as the lead editor of “Wildland,” a 2018 film that examines an Oregonian firefighting crew and the challenges it faced during a recent fire season.

These social events allow new graduates and relocated alumni to connect to their local alumni chapter by meeting alumni living in their region. This is also a great opportunity to bring alumni together to kick off the year of chapter events.
