Nosipho Shangase '17, who graduated from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, has become an accomplished public health scholar at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and will pursue her doctorate in the field. 

The May 18 tree-planting event is an extension of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ tradition of handing out oak saplings to new graduates.  

Jasper Thomas III, a double major in cinema and television arts and theatre studies, was recently named the recipient of an unconventional internship offered by Golin, one of the world's largest public relations firms.

The recent Global Education Symposium hosted by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Center for Research on Global Engagement and the Doctor of Physical Therapy program brought experts to campus to talk about effective and collaborative global education initiatives. 

With the addition of the spring semester opportunity, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in New York will become Study USA’s first program available year-round.

The GEC is currently accepting applications for fall 2017, winter 2018 and spring 2018. 

The 16-member team from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ placed second overall and received 12 individual awards. 

The university is committed to ensuring that student-athletes are able to take advantage of the global engagement experiences that are a hallmark of an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ education. 

MyºÚÁϲ»´òìÈGlobal, the Study Abroad and Study USA application site, will be down periodically on March 11 for scheduled maintenance.
