The ���ϲ����� Acting Program is celebrating the five-year anniversary of its partnership with Theatre Academy of London, a study abroad program for acting students.

The Dec. 1 report detailed the high demand among students for study abroad experiences as the university prepares for Winter Term, when many students leave campus to study around the globe.

The fifth Hispanic film series, “Global Migrations through the Lens of International Politics and Human Rights,” ended Nov. 18 with the screening of the final movie, "Guie’Dani’s Navel" and were joined virtually by the film's director, Xavi Sala.

���ϲ����� is once again recognized for the highest percentage rate of study abroad in the nation and for the first time is ranked among the top 10 doctoral universities for total study abroad participation.

The generous estate gift from The Rev. Joyce Myers-Brown ’59 of Atlanta will deepen funding for a scholarship she established in 2011 to increase access to global study. The gift is part of A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign to encourage donors to include the university in their estate plans.

The final conference, “The Persistence of the Nightmare: Argentine Narrative of the 21st Century," was hosted by Distinguished Professor at North Carolina State University Greg Dawes at Carlton Commons on Nov. 9.

Four ���ϲ����� Music Theatre juniors are studying acting abroad in London.

Darda's talk with the Department of English was based on his upcoming book “The Strange Career of Racial Liberalism.”

Joshua Hollands, lecturer at University College London Institute of the Americas, will be a visiting professor of history at ���ϲ�����. His teaching will focus on social justice movements in the LGBTQ community in the United States.
