The Forbes award recognizes outstanding young leaders in the field of digital gaming.

Associate Professors Derek Lackaff, Phillip Motley and Amanda Sturgill attended the 2018 International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning conference, which attracts international scholars and educators to share recent work and to discuss how to advance the future of higher education.

This online event will be held Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. via WebEx. 

Homecoming weekend brought nine School of Communications graduates back to campus to participate in a live panel discussion, providing current students with advice on how to use their ���ϲ����� experiences to enhance their careers.

Trey Caldwell G’18 collaborated with Gardy Swengbe G’18 and Assistant Professor Doug Kass on separate video projects and both were screened at the metro Atlanta festival in October.

The assistant professor of communications teamed with fellow ���ϲ����� colleagues Mitch Herndon and Clay Stevenson, as well as recent iMedia graduate Trey Caldwell, to develop three public service announcements to promote the United Nations AIDS outreach program.

Six ���ϲ����� staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 25 awards program during the annual staff appreciation celebration in Alumni Gymnasium.
