Leadership scholars gather as a cohort for workshops and seminars designed to focus on issues related to leadership pedagogy. 

The second annual Undergraduate Public Health Research Collaboration was held at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ on Friday, Sept. 23, and brought together students and faculty from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, Davidson College and Furman University. 

Professor Carmen Monico's work in Guatemala was funded through a Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award.

The grant will allow the associate professor of education to work with two ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ professors on finding strategies that are helpful, culturally relevant and easy for families to use to foster their infant's language development.

Professor Cynthia “Cindy” Fair delivered ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 2016 Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture on Tuesday with stories of her research into the lives of young people born with HIV, and the challenges they face transitioning from pediatric care into adult health care settings. 

Human Service Studies faculty and students assisted the Vctim's Advocacy Council of Alamance (VACA) in assessing the Coordinated Community Response Protocols developed for handling cases of domestic violence.  

The professor of human service studies will deliver the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theatre.
