ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor George R. Johnson, Jr. will moderate a special event featuring Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Leonard Pitts, Jr., and conservative activist Star Parker. 

Dean Bierman will meet with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. in Room 207, to present on matters of significance to the student body and to converse with students about topics of interest to them. 

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students are invited to meet with representatives from a wide range of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law student organizations to learn more and get involved. 

Each fall, the Moot Court Board invites rising 2L and 3L students at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law to compete in the Intramural Moot Court Competition. This year's competition takes place Sept. 21, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. 

Representatives from Legal Aid of North Carolina and the North Carolina Justice Center will present on the Lawyer on the Line pro bono program for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students and a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) presentation on expunction laws in N.C. and the need for reentry advocacy. This event is open to attorneys, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students and members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community.  It will take place in Room 207 at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
