The ���ϲ����� Board of Trustees has approved the establishment of a master of science program in physician assistant studies. The board's vote at its Oct. 22-23 fall meeting will launch ���ϲ�����’s sixth graduate program.

���ϲ�����'s new PA program, which enrolls its first class in January 2013, was featured in the July 25 edition of the Greensboro News & Record.

Tom Castelloe, a 2006 graduate of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business' MBA program has launched The Braintree, a website designed to connect academic researchers with businesses and individuals in need of their expertise.

���ϲ����� DPT students and alumni, including Jennifer Evans, Dana Tishler, Blair Madden, Natalie Maness, Judy Saas and Morgan Mason, are regular volunteers with the Greensboro Ballet's Dancing Above the Barre program.

Bill Andrews, associate professor of Physical Therapy, has published an article in the current issue of the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy titled "Outcome Measures in Neurological Physical Therapy Practice: Part II. A Patient-Centered Process."

���ϲ����� School of Law has received full accreditation by the American Bar Association. The Council of the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar approved ���ϲ�����’s application June 10, at its meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Doctor of Physical Therapy student, Danielle Gilbert, recently completed a four-week experience in Migori, Kenya. Gilbert opted for an independent study during her Advanced Clinical Practice Selective course and worked at St. Joseph Mission Hospital. A third-year student from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Gilbert completed her undergraduate degree at ���ϲ����� in 2009 with a major in exercise science, and had studied abroad in Ghana during a winter term.

What does it take to stand out as a job applicant in a competitive media and marketing industry, where companies are bombarded with applications and portfolios for their few open positions? Five panelists addressed that question and more on April 21 in a panel discussion held as part of the annual Interactive Media Showcase in McKinnon Hall.

For the second year in a row, ���ϲ����� has been named one of the nation’s most “environmentally responsible green colleges” by the Princeton Review, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council. The annual ranking profiles schools that “demonstrate notable commitments to sustainability in their academic offerings, campus infrastructure, activities and career preparation.
