Through the Students First Fund, the ���ϲ����� community has a new way to support students who have been affected by the economic impact of COVID-19.

Olivia Duffield ’20 gained undergraduate research opportunity and important mentorship through the ���ϲ����� College Fellows program and Glen Raven Undergraduate Research Grant.

The North Carolina Local News Workshop, housed at ���ϲ�����’s School of Communications, will champion new approaches to providing reliable, high-quality journalism and information for NC residents and offer a base of support for organizations and individuals working to reinvent and sustain local news.

���ϲ����� alumnus and Trustee Dr. William N.P. Herbert ’68 and wife Marsha Herbert, of Charlottesville, Virginia, are among the donors making major gifts to the ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign to support the university’s planned Innovation Quad.

Martin, an ���ϲ����� alumnus and parent from Tinton Falls, New Jersey, will lead the second year of the campaign’s three-year public phase.

The generous gift by John Sadler ’81 P’19 ’20 and his wife, Miriam P’19 ’20, will establish an ���ϲ����� Engagement Scholarship and honor their sons and one of ���ϲ�����’s most beloved staff members. Their gift is part of the ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign.
