David L. Wyrick ’94, Stuart E.Y. Richie ’10 (in absentia) and Maurice “Don” Owens ’95 were honored with the 2016 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College Distinguished Alumni Awards during a special April 28 ceremony.

A chemistry major conducted research that could allow future researchers to improve paints and plastics, make cheaper rubber and reduce greenhouse gases.

The English major was selected for the media organization’s Lifestyle Group Fellowship Program and will assist the editorial staff of Coastal Living, a print and online magazine based in Birmingham, Alabama.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students and professors shared research findings and creative work Tuesday at the Spring Undergraduate Research Forum, a day set aside each spring for the campus community to recognize scholarship and faculty mentoring relationships.

An exercise science major conducted research on the effects of drinking vs rinsing with water while running.

A statistics and economics double major conducted research on the effects of armed conflicts on the incidence rates of infectious diseases.

Held at 8:00 pm in the Station at Mill Point Depot Building. 

The university’s top award for undergraduate scholars comes with $15,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements. 

An April 18 dinner and ceremony featured a keynote address by Robert Darden, director of Baylor University’s Black Gospel Music Restoration Project.
