Seven ���ϲ����� students and two faculty mentors represented the Department of Sport Management at the 2026 Applied Sport Management Association Conference in Philadelphia, presenting original research alongside peers from leading programs across the country.

The ���ϲ����� graduate has been recognized nationally for her deeply reported multimedia feature, “The Autistic Experience at ���ϲ�����,” which centers the voices of autistic and neurodiverse students.

The strategic communications and sport management double major impacted the NHL team with an idea that benefited fans.

The journalism major has been named the recipient of the 2025 Wes Vernon Broadcast Scholarship, recognizing her leadership, reporting excellence, and commitment to public service journalism.

���ϲ����� students captured 11 awards in the 2025 BEA Festival of Media Arts, an international competition recognizing excellence in digital media and broadcasting. Most notably, Brandon Cericola ’26 and Kate Rivera ’25 turned their Audio for Sound and Digital Media class assignment into a Best of Festival award.

The newspaper of ���ϲ����� News Network was recognized as part of the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence contest.

The School of Communications is one of 20 institutions recognized in the 2024 Education A-List, the PR industry’s comprehensive roster of the top programs for career advancement in public relations and communications.

The Broadcast Education Association, the premier international academic media organization, released its third annual rankings celebrating consistent student success in the association’s Festival of Media Arts.

With the competition of its accreditation and self-study process, ���ϲ����� is one of 35 accredited programs in the U.S. recognized by the Commission of Sport Management Accreditation.

Thanks to a cross-campus collaboration, School of Communications students Ian Myers ’23, Melanie Meisner ’23 and Elizabeth Daria ’23 designed a digital billboard for the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation and its charitable initiative, Journey for the Living.
