���ϲ�����’s Sport Management Department will host its annual symposium on Wednesday, April 20, featuring a keynote conversation and two expert-led panel discussions. The in-person event will address the “Changing Dynamics in Sports Media.”

The multi-hyphenate alum has grown ACE Creatives into a seven-figure success story.

A generous scholarship gift from alumna and Univision News Anchor Maity Interiano ’07 will assist students in ���ϲ�����’s School of Communications. Her gift is part of the ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign.

The annual Design Forge will last from April 7 through April 9 with a series of discussion and events featuring ���ϲ����� faculty and design thinking professionals from around the world.

As one of the lead designers on NBC’s on-air graphic design team, LaPlante created and updated graphics for Super Bowl LVI and its millions of viewers.

The sport management major, who recently completed an internship with the Super Bowl-winning Rams, credits School of Communications faculty and staff for putting her in a position to achieve her professional goals.

Colonnades, ���ϲ����� News Network and Phi Psi Cli collect 11 first-place awards, as well as three Best of Shows, at the annual North Carolina College Media Association gathering hosted on Feb. 26.

Professor of Exercise Science Eric Hall is the principal investigator on the grant, titled, “Building a meaningful mentoring program with and for Black college athletes at a predominately White institution,” and was awarded $24,665 from The Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics.
