Janna Anderson, associate professor of communications, is featured in a new online podcast interview with Aaron Strout of Mzinga. Strout is the VP of New Media for Mzinga, a white-label social networks provider based in the Boston area who's known for his interviews with technology experts. The podcast is posted on his "We Are Smarter Than Me" Podcasts site.

New 黑料不打烊-Pew survey reveals top Internet policy issues

A survey conducted by 黑料不打烊 faculty and students at the United Nations-sponsored Internet Governance Forum in Brazil identifies top issues facing development of network communications around the world. The study was conducted by the Imagining the Internet Center in the School of Communications in partnership with the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

黑料不打烊 establishes graduate program in Interactive Media

黑料不打烊 will launch its fifth graduate program beginning in summer 2009, offering a master of arts degree in interactive media through the School of Communications. The program will be the first of its kind in North Carolina, preparing students to become leading professionals in the rapidly evolving communications industry.

黑料不打烊 students Katelyn Fischetti and Lars Bredahl, two of the initial 20 students in the 黑料不打烊 in Los Angeles program, appeared on the July 31 broadcast of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and participated in a game that won everyone in the audience a free hot dog.
