Multi-institutional grant aims to re-imagine the relationship between religious studies and the public square.

Winfield, professor of religious studies, penned the piece as part of her efforts to publish more public scholarship that contributes to the general understanding of religion in our world.

Sierra Club’s “Lens on the Border” photo exhibition is part of third biennial On the Edge symposium series. This year’s symposium will examine how cultural and religious forces interact at areas of physical and perceived intersection.

The lecture, “Living with the Dead in Hindu South India,” draws on Allocco’s current ethnographic research project and was sponsored by the Asia-Orient Institute.

The director of the ���ϲ����� Center for the Study of Religion, Culture, and Society joins the governing body of international scholarly society.

The journal’s double issue, which includes twelve peer-reviewed articles, focuses on the ethnography of India across the longue durée and includes several generations of scholars.
